Great show at the Tivoli Saturday 21 Jan. Fabulous rendition of Moonage Daydream (took me way back to seeing Bowie on the Ziggy tours)and Won't Get Fooled Again was just perfect - had to plug in the old Strat the next day and give it a good thrashing. Look forward to seeing you again sometime.

Dear Andrew, thank you soooo much for your kind words regarding the gig at The Tivoli. Also thank you for bringing along 10 others to make up our best audience not only in numbers but also in their reaction to the 2 and a half hours that we actually played for !!! We love every second of what we do and hope that it shows. Please spread the word as we are indeed back in the Autumn of 2013 and we will also be doing a Who Show as well !!! so keep your eyes peeled for that. My Kindest Regards Johnny Warman

Hi Johnny Thanks to you and the band for putting on a great show at the Tivoli theatre on Saturday night.Great choice of songs - shame it had to finish after over 2 hours - our group of 11 were up for more.!!It was good to see more people turn up than on your previous visit - made for a better atmosphere. Are you going to return to Mr Kyps in Poole during 2012? Kind regards Andrew

Dear Dave, thank you again for being so instrumental in getting us the gig. We absolutely loved it and you were a great audience. Gigs like this are really your night and a thank you for the hard work you put in over the year so with so much on offer as well as your food and wine etc we understand that you can sing dance gamble or just reminisce. We were overwhelmed by the reaction and please pass on our best regards. Thanks again Dave. Johnny Warman

Dear Reggie, it was an absolute pleasure talking to you and thanks again for spreading the word about The Mods. Obviously we hope that the arts centre will continue running but it will lose its lifeblood as the experience of all the people already in place and now redundant, will take its toll as they find other areas to make money. Adrian the sound guy will not and cannot sit around, as he has great skills and somebody is going to employ a brilliant sound guy who knew that place like the back of his hand and made it all come to life. Such a shame, but that is life I guess...constantly changing. Thank you again for your very kind words and hope to see you at one of our gigs in the near future. My Kindest Regards Johnny Warman

Hi Johnny Another great gig by you all at the Bridgwater Arts Centre last Saturday. All the people I recruited to buy tickets had a great time so a good result (I was always confident of the outcome:) Hopefully the Arts Centre will keep going, this is a great venue for live music. Look forward to your next visit. Reggie (Hoxton)

Hi, Johnny. I note your comment re The Sweet, and would dearly love to hear more glam rock sounds in your repertoire. Anything you do sounds better than the real thing, so I know we would be in for something really special. As for last Friday, as usual you put on a first-class show and gave us all a fantastic evening of festive fun and frolics! I especially enjoyed Mickey's random injections of Christmas tunes - I do love his sense of humour! Best wishes and can't wait for the next gig! Clare X

Dear Debbie, your smile lights up the entire place and I always love to see you giving it everything and really enjoying yourself. It came as a great shock to us to learn that all the people at the Arts Centre had just been made redundant and we are wondering how that will affect the live music situation at the Bridgwater Arts Centre? We will continue to return and just hope that they promote it better than they have in the past as it is a joy to play and the technical guy Adrian really knows his stuff and of course it is that special audience with you Debbie right up the front that make it all happen. Debbie long may we see your joyous happy face down the front, and that wheelchair doesn't stop you young lady, from putting most of them to shame !!! I hope to see you again in the near future, and wish you the very best Christmas and Happy New Year. Love Johnny Warman x Go girl !!!

Hi Great show the other night in Bridgwater (I was the one at the front in the wheelchair!). Loved the set - especially hearing something from 'Tommy'. Hope you all have a great Christmas.

Dear Dave, I fully take your point but I am afraid it is Bevo the sound guy that you should blame. I held up my acoustic gtr and asked him to mute it, but he thought that I meant stop the music !!! I am a huge sweet fan and loved them, so expect one of their songs shortly in our set and it was sacrilege to stop it where it was. Many apologies and thanks for your kind words about the band. My Kindest Regards Johnny Warman

Thanks Lynne and so sorry I did not get out to see you guys as I was in conversation with someone that knew Andy and the time just flew by. Great to see you and Chris and I thought the collection of songs we did was perfect considering the time restraints and the amount of material we do. It is always a shame to leave certain songs out as you cannot please everybody. Hope to catch you at The Beaverwood as we will be doing 2 new classics for that gig to add to our repetoire. The Boom Boom is such a great venue and the audience is one of the best in the UK. If you guys don't make it there? I will take the opportunity of thanking you lynn, our number 1 fan, and Chris for being so understanding and supporting you, for your dedication and for showing people how to have a great time and enjoy yourself. Have a great Christmas and New Year. Love Johnny x

Dear Robert, thank you for your kind message and we loved every second of it. We do a 2 hour Who Show so we can add more stuff the next time we play and keep it all fresh and new. We are never complacent and always try to put in stuff that is new and never do the same show twice. Please spread the word about the band as there is no better recomendation than word of mouth. Many thanks Robert and next time come up and meet the guys at the end as we love to say hello and thank you for coming to watch us. My Kindest Regards Johnny Warman

Eureka !!! Ive solved the problem of having to drop old favourites for new gems John boy ......start earlier !! And dont say your voice wont do it cos the audience sang most of your songs for you at the Boom Boom lastnite ?! start at 8,30 and there could be another £ in it for you ! 363 guestbook entries |
