Dear Bev, Thank you for your kind words and your concern over my fall.I do not know if you noticed but my fellow musicians were laughing so much at my misfortune and such is the high standing with which they hold me??? NOT They are rascals every one of them and the only reason I put up with them is because they are so brilliant as players and musicians !!! To be honest I was laughing too as when we play at most gigs we are not afforded as much stage space as there is at Butlins and I was having so much fun I missed the monitor and just collapsed over it. I just want to say how brilliant the sound and performance team at Butlins are, and so professional. I do not know if you left your email address? as then we would keep you informed regarding future dates but if not then just please keep checking our gig list and hopefully we will play near you some day !!! Thanks for suggesting us to your local promoter and please guide them to the website.Me and Steve Byrd both worked with Geno when he came and sang on a song that we wrote so we know him quite well and would love to do a gig with him. However I opened for Geno back in 1974 !!! and learnt so much from such a great performer. Really glad you loved the band and chuffed that we made your weekend. Kindest Regards Johnny Warman THE MODS

I was watching Screaming Jets and I said to myself"of course I know this song",some songs don't leave you, they just need a tiny help to reappear. I can't come to your gigs so I appreciate your blog and messages as they tell the atmospheres of the different places you go.I read them like a book. I hope I'm not too expecting wishing for new videos, photos of the gigs,... It's a nice site, keep up the good work. Caro

New venue in Herne Hill Zoom at the Moon located inside the Half Moon Half Moon Lane and what a great little club it is.Pete Feenstra always finds these little gems and I have watched him create incredible venues like Worcester Park Tavern and the Boom Boom Club in Sutton and this could be just as good. The people that were lucky enough to be there were treated to a World Class performance and what a party we had !! There was a great Cheese moment where we played those classic cheesey numbers but what an atmosphere. Every member of the band shone and played their part to help create something really special. Special thank you to Jay Smith for an incredible drumming performance and he is definately knocking on Johnny Marters door and Dean Ross on keys.Looking forward to seeing you all there the next time we play there and a great big Thank You again to Pete Feenstra for his help and kindness. Thanks to all those that made it.

hello readers, Fantastic gig at the zoom club herne hill last night, great venue very, cozy and a great appreciative crowd, some brilliant favourites played and a few quirky ones thrown in which made for some good fun,all round, have to say Jays drumming again was mind blowing youd' think he had been with the band forever.Johnny had the crowd soon on his side and for first time there he should be well chuffed. The last three Who numbers were simply "Window Rattlers" again a fun time was had by all .brilliant night.Cheers Guys Lynne x

Dear Filippe, We certainly thank you for your interest in our band and hope indeed that we will play in France at some point. We are in Germany next month so I do not think that it will be all that long before we get gigs all over Europe especially France !!! Merci mon amis Johnny Warman

Dear Richard, Thank you for your kind words and thank you for passing on the information to the unconverted. We do the songs our way but we are very faithfull and passionate about the sound and format of the original songs. Our drummer had just got back from playing in Italy and was fairly bushed until he walks on stage and then it all changes...You should see him when he is rested !!! You must tell your friends that you really have to book early to avoid dissappointment. Our next Half Mon Gig is on Saturday 11th August. Thanks again. Kindest Regards Johnny Warman

Hi Chaps Great gig at the Half Moon. Hadn't heard of you guys before and went along on the off chance. It was great to hear some of those 60's songs as they should be, not ruined by some inept interpretations (Light my Fire) Will look out for you again. Would bring my mates if I had any! Mentioned you to most people I know who all want to come to the Half Moon next time you're there. Hope your drummer has got his breath back!

Thank you to everyone who turned up at last nights gig at the Half Moon and contributed by your sheer enthusiasm and exuberance and helped make it another brilliant night to remember. The crowd at the Half Moon is really something special and as soon as I walk on stage and see that sea of smiling faces I almost know instinctively that it will be a great night. We are never complacent and always try to better our performance and add new songs. The Band were out of this World and it definately feeds from the audience. We salute you and thank you all so much for making it another Sold Out performance and definately something to remember. Our Kindest Regards Johnny Warman

Guys, what a night! The Half Moon proved to be the perfect venue yet again as we rocked out with you lot - FANTASTIC! I brought a few Mods virgins, who are now completely converted and as excited as me about the next show - you blew them away with blistering energy, and insane solos - I thought Johnny and his drums were going to take off! Thanks for the shout out...! :) Jack.
