Message sent to Pete Feenstra, The Mods' Promoter:

Hello, Pete - I just wanted to say how absolutely BRILLIANT the Mods and Rockers were on Friday night!!!! The Mods have always been my absolute favourite band of all the ones I've seen, and to have the "rocker" stuff as well is pretty much perfection for me!! Those guys are awesome – everything they do is touched with gold. I was in heaven and wish they could have carried on all night! A HUGE thank you to everyone for such a fantastic evening and please get them back as soon as possible!!

Thanks for making it happen!

Graham    25 February 2008 21:04 | Tunbridge Wells
last Friday's Mods and Rockers performance was one of the best live acts I have ever seen - and i was at the proper IoW festival and have been following famous, signed and unsigned bands for a long time... Johnny's performance was high energy and was infectious to band members and audience alike - that tambourine must hurt big time!! keep on rocking

As soon as i heard the opening riff for"Shakin All Over I Knew we were in for a very special musical treat and boy I was not wrong. The Mods gave us a Gig to remember above all others,The Stones The Doors Led Zep.literally something to please everyone and they certainly did that judging by all the comments post gig,Barneys bass on Kashmir(got the spelling right this time John)was right on the money as were all the Band Mickey what can i say and even with an injured paw!! They gave us a taster a couple of years ago with this, and i have been waiting patiently I might add for this song to be done and Johns vocals did not dissapoint either, unbelievable .The crowd responded unlike before tonight as they were so productive and fluid in every way .We really were so gutted when it ended if only we could have had some more .the guys were totally wrung out too from what was a truly mind blowing night.Rock on The Mods .Love Lindaxxx

Top band, Top night. TOP THAT!!! Fantastic performances Friday night at the Beaverwood,The Mods pulled off yet another belter again, and right from the get go the crowd really went for it,and who can blame them, great first nighter ,and we have been to a few and occasionally it takes a while for things to take off,but then they did play out of their little cotton socks. The sound was spot on very balanced, and we could here every instrument, Johnny was on form as usual whipping up the crowd, and getting people going who I am sure probably dont usually!!Hope they play there again great venue,Pete well done mate.and See Emily Play is mind blowing just cannot get enough of this song.Well done guys see you at the Half Moon.Love Linda xxx

Dear Gary,
Thank you very much for your kind comments about the band. I honestly hoped that we maybe would have encouraged you more than discouraged you musically. Keep playing and it will get better !! I have to say that as a new gig Pete Feenstra has really struck gold with The Beaverwood Club. He has an uncanny knack of researching and coming up with the goods and he rarely fails. A brilliant crowd for our first turn out and I fully expect it to be rammed on our return and we will most definately be back. Thanks again for spreading the word.

Saw you last night at the Beverwood Club(8.2.08). I must say that having been a very serious amature bedroom musician for over25 yrs, after watching you guys last night I went home and threw away my triang, stylaphone and ukulele. No more practicing my 60's riffs. You were brilliant, I will be spreading the word, look forward to seeing you again.Best wishes to you all.

Dear Malcolm and Joan,
Thank you so much for taking the time to send your message to us. It really helps, as we put so much into what we do, and to get such great feedback makes it all worthwhile. Cornwall is high on my list of favourite places, and we would love to work there, hopefully one day for the Modrapheniacs SC who put on some major rallies in Cornwall. We would love to show them just what we do, and any help in that department would be gratefully appreciated.
My Kindest Regards Johnny Warman

Dear Robert,
Thank you so much for your kind words about the bands performance on Friday night at Minehead. The crowd was fantastic, and I love performing at all the Butlins venues, especially on the Centre Stage, as it is sooo big and the crowds are usually around the 2000 mark. I am sure that you have read our biogs as we have all played for, and with, some of the biggest artists in the Music World. The Mods is our way of giving back something that we heard as kids, and with a dream in our hearts, then turned us into the World Class musicians that we are today.
I demand a really high standard from my guys, and we are never complacent. Without being big headed, I think we are without doubt, one of the best bands around doing what we do. Dave Berry came into our dressing room when we came off, and said that we had performed a fantastic set, which was very gracious and a tribute, coming from someone I watched as a kid. We absolutely love what we do Rob, and certainly hope to meet up with you one day. If you are going to Skegness on the 7th March? or Bognor on the 18th May? then please let us know, as when we have cooled down, we will come out and say "Hello", and then we can have a chat and a drink .Please spread the word about the band Rob, and if you hear of anyone who wants the best Sixties Band to perform at Parties, Events, Festivals, Weddings etc? please point them in our direction.
Kindest Regards Johnny Warman THE MODS

60's weekend at minehead feb 1st 2008 . you were the first act on and you set a very high standard for the whole weekend. I must say you did yourselves proud and hopefully young bands like yourselves will keep 60's music alive and kicking. Thank you for a fantastic night.

Dear Caro,
Happy New Year to you my friend and I was assured by the manager of the Half Moon that they had enjoyed some great New Years performances by bands over the years including us but that this particular one was in his opinion the best ever. I have to say that the audience are always exemplary in their conduct and enthusiasm and the atmosphere was just incredible. I certainly hope that we can come and play in France at some stage and spread a lot of "entente cordialle" with our brilliant show. Bonne Chance mon ami

I would like to say a very special thank you to the guys who helped us create a wonderful night at The Boom Boom.
Neil Murray on bass, sublime and solid ,Jeff Rich on drums, fun and games and grooves,Paul Hirsch on keys and vocals, always right on the money.
Of course rejoined by Andy Hamilton on sax,who played the whole gig with no monitor as it broke, just the best.
It must be almost impossible to play a sax with a loud band and no monitor,he didn't grumble once.
So,onwards and upwards in 2008!!!!!!!!!
Johnny's not bad either!!!!!!!!!
