Hi Johnny,Each time we see you and the band we think you can not get any better but you just like to prove us wrong.Well worth the overnight trip to see you all again. What a surprise to hear 54-46 by Toots and the Maytals, i am a great ska fan so that was a real treat. Hope you liked the book. Looking forward to seeing you at the Beaverwood and the Cellars. Regards Ann.

So great to see you at the Brook on Friday and what a fantastic evening - think you could have carried on all night. Our friends went down to the Cellars at Eastney thinking you were appearing there then suddenly did a very quick U turn suddenly remembering that you were at the Brook - but they have said it was well worth the double trip. Hope you enjoy the Faces Book our friend Ann gave you at the end of the gig. Fingers crossed we will all see you again at the Cellars Eastney on the 2 Oct with some new recruits in tow as well. Please give you support to Steve Pitt to keep this brilliant music venue open which is threatened with closure by Enterprise Inns in the foreseeable future. In the meantime keep strutting your stuff and here's to the next time. All the very best Pom & Jim Tann

Dear Rob,
Thank you for your lovely message and we had a great time playing for you guys as it is such a great venue and as a crowd you were with us from the opening chord. Thanks for spreading the word about the band as there is no better recommendation than the spoken word, and we will be back with new songs as we are always thinking about improving the Show and for it to be thoroughly audience friendly. Thanks again mate for buying the Dvd and hope it brings you lots of enjoyment.
Kindest regards
Johnny warman

Thank you all so much for your kind words about The Mods performance at The Stables on Saturday 10th and we had a brilliant time playing for you all. Regarding Silverstone you have to contact the Race track to purchase tickets. We are playing for Harley Davidson exclusively although The Yardbirds and Dr Feelgood are also performing on the Friday night

Had the pleasure of seeing the mods tonight for the first time at the Stables Milton Beans,
The show started with the lead singer asking people not to stand and dance, but to dance in the aisles, that was the first bit of music to my ears, cant tell you how many times some clumsy looking bird gets to her feet in front of me,and blocks my view with her dodgy dancing,by the way most men accept they cant dance, most women have less coordination than Emily Heskey......
Anyway,1 minute into the first song i realised this was definitely my kind of band, they were tighter than my good friend Howard,he last bought a round in the summer of 88.
The songs were brilliantly done, the kinks the who,the small faces to name but a few....
Amazing keyboard playing on doors songs, and as good a drum solo as i have ever seen, lead guitarist and bass player also top musicians, lead singer was a good front man,and couldnt fault any of his singing...
This was one of them nights,i had no expectations but was blown away, had i paid 3 times the ticket price i would still have had value for money,
cant normally be arsed to leave feedback on any band but do yourself a favour and check this band out,i will deffo be seeing them again.
Cheers lads,ps highlight of the night for me,All or nothing,Small Faces.

What a dilema on a Sunday afternoon - the ironing and Eastenders Omnibus v to go and see you and Gary at the Cellars for the first airing of your acoustic set. Of course there was no competition - it was a great afternoon and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it was a privilege to have been part of the crowd of 50 or so who were there. So keep on making us happy with your music and we look forward to seeing you again hopefully some time soon back at the Cellars, Eastney. Pom & Jim Tann.

Steve Jepson    05 January 2010 07:06 | Bridgwater
